Self-introduction analysis My name is Ken and I am very excited to take part in this course and to meet you all. I had studied Computer Science in the University of Maryland majoring in algorithms and data structures. In the past two years, I was able to work as a junior software developer in a technology company of web-based backend programming with Python and Java, optimization of database queries, and consulting on the creation of APIs. The immense job I have performed here in the company has actually inspired my love towards system designing and scaled architectures and it happens that I have to enroll in this course to increase my knowledge base. I have always wanted to be the one that comes up with the systems architects, who are able to create efficient, high-traffic systems, that are sustainable. The course will enable me to develop my familiarity with distributed systems and performance optimization that would be applied directly to my current occupation in addition to being prepared to take on a higher role. I am very glad to have the practical projects which will reenact real-life challenges and get us both to socialize with one another hence we will gain through your various ideas and ways. The course will see me master the art of designing distributed systems as well as opening up my talents in identifying performance bottlenecks and remedying through the course. Such skills will be an addition to my projects. I would be extremely excited about working with the material yet think about such challenging things as consensus algorithms, new to me makes me feel somewhat apprehensive. I know I am certain with your help alongside resources in the course.
