My reasons to resume college.

The primary motive why I decided to attend college is to know better my future and establish a solid base of my life. The first right step would be going back to school to acquire the knowledge and skills that I require. College will not only enable me to receive a degree but also equip me to respond to issues within the society especially those connected to societal safety. The final dream of mine will be to work in law enforcement and with the FBI. With a major in criminal justice, I will have the capability to follow this career. I intend to first join the police force where I will have a good experience and slowly climb the ladder until I realize my long term objectives.

In order to be a successful college student, I understand that I have to be and it is necessary to be organized, disciplined and be motivated. This involves being very time conscious, keeping up with classroom discussions and posing questions to further advance my comprehension. I would as well leverage assets like learning groups and tutoring to support learning. By developing these habits at early stages during my first year, I will be able to remain on track during the process of my academic journey.

A major in criminal justice is a career choice that matters since it links directly to my career objectives of becoming an FBI agent. I realize that this profession needs discipline, devotion and constant professional development. I can visualize where I will begin to have my initial skills in the police force, learn through experience, and use this to develop. At the end, I am no longer sitting back and just trying to make myself better but also trying to impact my community.
