Reflection on My Study Environment and Its Impact on Productivity My work environment is a small and well fitted desk in close proximity to a window that enables natural light to illuminate the room. The desk has only necessary things like my laptop computer, a notebook, and a light. I have selected this picture as much as it is similar to my real working environment in terms of simplicity and lack of distracter. I can focus on my studies rather easily when exposed to natural light that is accompanied by a comfortable chair. It is mostly quiet and I therefore am able to focus in my coursework without the need to be interrupted quite often. My room is not messy and is always tidy and it helps a great deal in improving my productiveness. In the event that the space is clear I am likely to feel relaxed and psychologically ready to target the academic assignments. Nonetheless, when the desk is disorganized, then my concentration and energy levels reduce rapidly. The physical alone makes me feel happier and has some comfort, as well as produces a feeling of control and organization both of which are key to studying. To give this area more prominence, I shall contain a white board and a minor plant to allow me writing my assignments and due dates. These additions would make the area dynamic besides helping me become organized. Another aspect I am planning to minimize my cellphone usage in this space, in order to minimize destruction. It is all great in that, well maintained, comfortable and a workplace can assist me to not only meet my academic goals but also enhance my productivity. Reference Cherry, K. (2022).
